The Naming Committee was established by Ordinance 98-12. The committee functions in an advisory capacity to the city commission on all matters concerning the naming of public properties within the city.
The committee is composed of five residents appointed by the city commission, serving five-year terms.
The committee meets as needed.
Members who serve three full consecutive terms may be reappointed at the discretion of the city commission.
